The report: one rolling score, the trend, and a line per category.

How it works

Three decisions, then it runs itself

The defaults are good. Turn it on with nothing changed and the first questions go out this week.

  1. Set the rhythm

Daily, weekly, every other week, monthly, or quarterly. Which days, and morning or afternoon. Weekly with two questions is the default, and the questions are spread across the week so it never feels like survey day.

  2. Pick the questions

Ten categories and fifty-plus questions in the bank. Tick the ones you want, add your own, and pin up to two that are asked every time. The rest rotate, so every question is asked once before any is asked twice.

  3. Read and act

A score by category, the trend, and the comments. A digest lands in your inbox every Monday, and it says so when a category has dropped. From there, run a Gauge on it or make it a goal.

For the team

Thirty seconds, from the inbox

The email carries the first question with five buttons. Tap one and the page opens with the rest. No login, no app to install, one optional comment at the end.

  • Each person has a day. Always the same one, so it becomes a small habit rather than a surprise.
  • It goes somewhere. Show the category scores to the whole team, so people see that answering changes something.
  • It closes on time. Answers stay open until the end of the week, then the week is done. One reminder, never a nag.

The details

Anonymous by design, not by promise

Answers are never stored against a name. You see "11 of 12 answered this week" and the percentages once five people have answered. Comments show without names, in shuffled order.

A threshold, every time

No category or question shows until five people have answered it. Small teams stay safe because the whole team gets the same questions each week.

A rolling window

Read the last 30, 90 or 365 days. Every category carries its change, and every question says how many times it has been asked.

The Monday digest

The score, what moved, and the comments, in your inbox every Monday. The subject line changes when something has dropped.

Scores to the team, if you choose

Category scores can show to everyone. Comments stay with admins.

Once a quarter

The 0 to 10 "would you recommend working here" question, asked in the first week of each quarter and reported on its own.
